TCABA Community Services
TCABA provides services for kids, ages 18-months to 18-years, who have been diagnosed with autism or other behavioral related challenges. Their work includes children who have dual or multiple diagnosis, on behaviors, gross and fine motor skills, language development, physical challenges and socialization using Applied Behavioral Analysis.
All of the clients at TCABA have either insurance or qualify for Medicare. However, a large portion of the kids in poorer neighborhoods on the Treasure Coast, and kids of color, do not have insurance or they do not qualify for Medicare. Kids with autism or other diagnosed behavior related issues go unserved in the communities.
Recognizing the need to serve these communities, TCABA founded Treasure Coast ABA Community Services. This non-profit organizations' goal is to raise money to scholarship kids who cannot afford their services, or who do not qualify for Medicare.
Kudos to them for not only recognizing the need, but doing something about it. TCABA Community Services expects to launch in the summer of 2021.
