EIA founder, Mike Sancho, first started his career at Taromar Tennis Academy and then Arthur Ashe's Safe Passage Foundation where he taught tennis to inner-city youth. He then went on to a long and successful Boys & Girls Club career, leading teams that implemented 52 award-winning programs at the local, state, regional and national levels. Mike has also won several awards such as Contribution to the Profession and the Northeast Regional Herman Prescott Award for his dedication to advancing the careers of women and minorities in the Boys & Girls Club movement.

Mike credits his mentor as a youth, for helping him develop a vision for life. As a result of the mentoring and coaching he received, Mike himself became a mentor to kids and teens and a career coach to several youth development professionals.
